QUIRINO PPO CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER: A SCHOOL WITHIN A CAMP
The Quirino Police Provincial Office under the leadership of PSSUPT DELFIN SALVADOR MILLO, former Provincial Director formally opened its kindergarten school dubbed as “Aglipay West Central School Kindergarten Extension” on June 22, 2011.
Quirino Police Provincial Office crafted a Memorandum of Agreement with the Aglipay West Central School to the effect that the School will be initially dubbed as an extension of the latter until all requirements for its registration as a private school are met; hence, the name “Aglipay West Central School Kindergarten Extension”
Brief History
From its original name as Aglipay West Central School Kindergarten Extension, the name of the school was changed on June 2014 to Quirino PPO Day Care Center.
Further, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) through their Memorandum Circular Number 03, Series of 2015 with a subject: “Guidelines for the Institutionalization of the DSWD Early Childhood Care and Development Information System (ECCD-IS) on June 2016, the QPPO Day Care Center was changed into QPPO Child Development Center.
Project Objective
Quirino PPO Child Development Center aims to cater the needs of children of PNP personnel and indigent constituents of Barangay San Leonardo, Aglipay, Quirino and nearby barangays with no tuition fee.
Project Details
Quirino PPO Child Development Center intends to mold young minds and prepare them for the next ladder of education and instill a genuine love of learning.
Project Involved
Quirino PPO Child Development Center partners the Department of Social and Welfare Development under the supervision of Mrs. Susan B Baltazar, DSWD Officer of Aglipay Quirino. The QPPO provided the Adviser/Teacher named PCpl Eden V Barbacena. They also organized and elected officers of Day Care Service Parents Group (DCSPG) to help and assist the pupils and the teacher.
